Blake Jansen is a passionate and accomplished Professional Makeup Artist and a New York-Licensed Esthetician, based in the heart of New York City. With expertise in elevating skin and facial features through the artful application of makeup and the science of skincare, Blake marries creativity with technical skill and research-based knowledge to deliver exceptional results. His journey in the beauty industry began in 2015, fueled by a lifelong admiration for art and beauty, and has been marked by remarkable growth and versatility.

 

Driven by a profound enchantment with beauty, Blake initially pursued his studies in psychology at the University of Arizona before moving on to formal training in esthetics. Recognizing the synergy between flawless skincare and makeup, he obtained his esthetician license before advancing his skills at the prestigious Make-Up Designory (MUD) in New York City, where he completed the comprehensive Fashion Makeup program.

 

Blake’s career has since expanded beyond initial expectations, allowing him to establish a diverse portfolio. His expansive experience includes working on commercials, commercial shoots, editorial spreads, beauty and fashion photoshoots, runway events, and red carpet appearances. Each project allowed him to hone his craft and perfect his techniques, resulting in a mastery of a broad array of styles and looks.
